Arthur and I met Samuel when he was 2 days old, and I almost can’t remember our lives before him! He has been such a sweet and fun blessing, and I am humbled every single day when I think about how we were chosen to be his parents.

When we first talked about adopting, I felt in my heart that we would be missing a part of our family if we didn’t begin the process. Sam was that missing piece! We got a lot of practice trusting God through the adoption process but clung to the truth that we knew God was working in ways we couldn’t see.

Our path to Sam was beautiful and broken and fell together in perfect ways only God could have ordained.

We hope to honor his birth family each day as we talk to Samuel about what good care they took of him before he was born and as we pray for them each night.

We can’t believe he is already 2 years old! We are so thankful we get to witness his excitement for life and learning and that we will get to continue watching him become who he is meant to be. We are so appreciative of CFS for preparing us and for continuing to walk with us every step of the way!
