Dear CFS,

My experience with CFS couldn’t have been a better experience. Adoption is definitely the hardest thing I had to do in life. Nothing will be harder in life than that decision. I was able to do it with God and CFS at my side every step of the way.

If it wasn’t for God, I wouldn’t be where I am today. He let me know everything was going to be okay, that Meghan was going to have an amazing life with amazing people. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9.

I know I didn’t give up my daughter. I gave my daughter life. I gave her opportunities in life that only blessed children receive. I gave her what she deserves… what an angel deserves.

From the moment I met CFS on the day of my baby’s birth, we connected in numerous ways. I knew right then and there that the process of adoption was going to be with CFS.

No other agency would do the kind of work they do.

They were there not only to help me provide what my daughter deserved but they were there for me. They wanted to take care of me and my needs as the birth mom.

After the tough process of signing the paper, we said a prayer in the hospital room. It brought peace to my heart. It is really like God sent CFS to do this kind of work on Earth. [Their] work is of miracles.

Meeting the family was the most amazing part of the whole part of the process. I connected with the family in every way possible. It was an amazing and spiritual meeting. I was at peace, the family and I were at peace, and we were all at peace with God. It is truly hard to express in words the things that went on during that meeting. Words just don’t do it justice really.

Overall, this experience was truly remarkable. CFS is an amazing organization. They are now part of my family and I know they will be with me every step of the way through the good an bad times. I can’t wait for our relationship to grow more as my daughter grows up with her adoptive family. It will be amazing to see how she grows and I’m so blessed to have CFS by my side.

CFS definitely provides endless amounts of support and I know I can call them whenever I need them.

CFS will live in my heart forever. They are in my thoughts and prayers everyday for the services they provided to me.

“Sometimes the answer to a prayer is not one that changes your life, but it’s one that changes you.”

Love,

Jessie, CFS Birth Mom

UNDERSTANDING POSITIVE ADOPTION LANGUAGE: Blog posts of CFS are written using words people search for if they are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. To reach women and provide options to them, we use language our SEO agency suggests, not the positive adoption language we prefer to use! We consider women making an adoption plan as wanting to place her child with an adoptive family, but many times she first uses words like “give my baby up” for adoption.
