We are especially grateful for God’s choice, for a birthmother’s courage and for CFS’s vision so our son Dennis could come into our hearts and family.

Dennis is amazing. As a young child, he was very quiet and shy. As a young man, he is a confident speaker and a recognized leader. His four years in GHS Naval JROTC have brought out the best in him. He leaves a distinguished unit as a Lieutenant Junior Grade in charge of Training.

He loves this country and at some point will be joining the Marines. We are proud of him and pray that God will continue to lead him and show him the future He has in store for him.

Every adoption story is different. Women don’t know what the future holds for our children they decide to place for adoption, other than doing their best to give them a better life than they can provide. Thanks to this birth mom’s selfless act of an abortion alternative, Dennis is growing up to be a U.S. Marine. His birth mom protected him. Now he is protecting her, and all of us.
