Dear Birth Mom “M”,

Sorry it has taken so long for me to write. I have tried to start this many times and stop because I’m not sure what to say. So first thing I need to say is thank you for picking our family. I can not imagine how hard of a choice it was, but we have been very blessed.

We would love to get to know you better through some letters and hopefully work up to phone calls. We want to do what is best for everyone.

How are you doing? How are the kids? Tell me about everyone.

Jayli is doing much better. Not sure what Jerry has shared with you, but she had her heart surgery February 2018. Her feeding tube came out in May 2018 and she had to have 2 minor surgeries to close the hole. It did not close right and the stitches did not dissolve properly so they had to go back in and clean everything out. That was on Christmas Eve 2018. Since having everything done, she has finally gained weight and is in 75-80 percentile for height and weight. To explain her heart surgery, they had to go in and take the band off that they had originally put in and close as many of the holes she had.

We would love to see pictures of all of you to share with Jayli. We tried to send a photo album and bracelet for you. It’s something we had gotten to give you when we were going to meet you.

We will keep them safe until you’re ready to receive them.

We pray everything is going well for all of you.

Love, Joseph & Jennifer

~ CFS Adoptive Family

Are you considering abortion because your doctor said you will have a medical/special needs baby? Are you left wondering how you can possibly care for them? Or wondering who else, if anyone, would be willing to care for them? We hope Joseph, Jennifer & Jayli’s story shows you that there is still HOPE for your child! If you are unable to care for them yourself due to medical concerns, we have adoptive families ready to step up! Jayli is just one of several medically needy babies CFS has placed for adoption throughout our 43 years as a Christian adoption agency. In fact, there has NEVER been a medical situation where CFS has not found a family.

Are you pregnant and want to learn more about your options, modern day adoption, open adoption vs closed adoption vs semi-open adoption? Are you curious what the adoption process looks like? Do you want to learn what the Florida adoption laws are and what rights you have? Are you curious how adoption doesn’t mean you just “give up my baby”? Call/Text CFS today! Caseworkers are available 24/7, including holidays & weekends, to answer your questions and give you the information you need to make the best decision for YOU and your baby. We know adoption isn’t right for everyone. We also know parenting at this time is not always right for everyone. That’s why it’s important to learn the details of adoption & community resources available to you. That way you know which option is right for you.

Contacting and/or meeting with CFS does NOT, in any way, make you committed to working with us or creating an Adoption Plan.

We are ready to answer your call or text to discuss judgment free options with you. Consider your options for your unplanned pregnancy. Speak with us 24/7 by voice @ 8002262367 or text @ 352.600.2138

UNDERSTANDING POSITIVE ADOPTION LANGUAGE: Blog posts of CFS are written using words people search for if they are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. To reach women and provide options to them, we use language our SEO agency suggests, not the positive adoption language we prefer to use! We consider women making an adoption plan as wanting to place her child with an adoptive family, but many times she first uses words like “give my baby up” for adoption.
