CFS as a child-placing agency

As a Florida agency, we are licensed to give women and men pregnancy options. If you are looking to find a professional to help you consider adoption for your baby, you may already have looked into adoption services, an adoption center or abortion alternatives. What CFS offers may seem similar to the list of items other agencies offer, such as:

Experience-CFS has been a licensed child-placing agency for over 40 years. Our caseworkers are prepared to recognize the emotions you may experience during this time. We choose to use the phrase “placing” a child or baby for adoption instead of “giving up for adoption” as expectant mothers choose what they want for a family.

Unlike other agencies, we have waiting adoptive parents who have committed relationships with one another, and as Christians, with our Lord. Our families have an eternal focus when it comes to parenting. One that includes praying for you. Right now.

CFS as a non-profit

Unlike other agencies, we have committed donors who desire to help women facing unplanned pregnancy. We are a non-profit. We depend on fundraisers and donors to keep our doors open. We recognize some of the best families may not be financially wealthy, but have characteristics that make them good candidates for parenting.

You are the Client at CFS

Women who choose to make an adoption plan with a CFS caseworker share what she is looking for in a family. We review family qualities and discuss them with you. We want you to feel confident in your decision.  Placing a baby with an adoptive family is a loving option. It may be a selfless decision. It may be a brave decision. However, we know it is a hard decision, no matter your circumstance. We are here for you, and we are ready to hear you.
