Hoping to Adopt

Every family’s adoption journey is unique, making it memorable and challenging. Numerous paths have brought you to adoption, and we know, for many of you, the road has been littered with anxiety and pain.

There are several adoption agencies you can work with. Still, we truly believe God will lead you to the right agency for your family. Whatever your course, we are glad you are considering our agency.

We have operated in Florida since 1978 and primarily place infants for adoption. Choosing the right agency to help you build your family can be difficult, stressful, and time-consuming. We want to alleviate as much stress from the process as we can.

Application Process

Read our Policies and Procedures to determine if we are the right adoption agency for you. In addition, please review our Statement of Faith. Consider making an inquiry with our agency to see if we can offer you an application by completing a questionnaire.

Training

All Florida applicants are required to participate in adoption training hosted by Christian Family Services. Training is hosted quarterly in Gainesville, FL. If you live outside Florida, our Adoption Specialist will provide an option.

Home Study

Please provide a valid Florida Home study with your inquiry. Please send to info@cfsfl.org.

Placement

Christian Family Services is a faith-based, Florida-licensed Child Placing Agency for domestic adoptions. Our Adoption Specialist will walk you and your family through the entire adoption process.

Post-Placement Services

Once your child is home, we complete the required post-placement supervisory visits. These required visits enable us to assist you and your child as you settle into becoming a family.

Where Do I Start?

We will begin taking adoption inquiries from Florida families on March 10, 2026. If after reading our Policies and Procedures and Statement of Faith you think CFS is the agency for you, please complete this inquiry form and email your Home Study to info@cfsfl.org.
