Prayer Lifts Others – CFS Family Times
When an expectant mother reaches out to a CFS caseworker during an unplanned pregnancy, she needs spiritual support in addition to financial and emotional support. Christians show the love of Christ to women with unplanned pregnancies through their support of CFS, a non-profit adoption agency. The prayers and financial support of our donors allow CFS caseworkers to show the love of Christ to women.
A Grand Adventure – CFS Family Times
When a child is expected, we feel that “A grand adventure is about to begin.” The same can be said of a vacation! A few weeks ago, CFS experienced both – the birth of 2 babies and 1 vacation – the same week! In this recount of placements and vacation – see WHO had the adventure!
What does LOVE have to do with it?
Love is the basis of a mom’s belief in the sanctity and value of every single life. It’s her love for the life that she is carrying and her belief that God has a plan for him/her. CFS caseworkers witness how the love a mom (and dad) have for an unplanned pregnancy, their unborn baby, may cause them to consider ways to provide what’s best for the child, even if they will not be the one to provide it. God’s love can give her peace in this situation.
CFS Dream List!
The Pandemic has affected CFS. With Fundraising opportunities down, and 7 placements since August 2020, staff have been busy assisting Expectant Women as they consider options for their unplanned pregnancy. Thanks to God, our Father, for donors who continue to pray, continue to give, and continue to DREAM with the ministry of CFS!
Our Daily Bread – CFS Family Times Summer Newsletter
Through your prayers, encouragement and support, I have been reminded again how important it still is to “be content” and only pray for our “daily bread.” Though we have not received the financial support that we would have expected normally, God continues to see that our needs are met as they come up, in extraordinary ways. See the examples of how HE has provided in our most recent newsletter!
More Than a Ministry – CFS Family Times Winter Newsletter
I learned what being a ministry was about during my training when I witnessed how Jerry treated women with unplanned pregnancies with nothing but love, respect and compassion. Regardless of their background or circumstances, everyone was treated the same way. The longer I’m here, the more meaning “CFS is a ministry” continues to have.
